Motueka High School Band

The excitement is unbearable as we are waiting for the Motueka High School Band to come in and play.
Daniel, Kurtis and me (Dylan) are helping out with getting the band organized and carrying all the heavy stuff in and telling them were to park and were to set up their stuff.
THey wil need power cords for their amps and guitars and we need to open the gates for them to get close to the stage with their gear. Mr Searle says we are called 'Roadies"
Will blog later with how it goes.

Miss Wood- our student teacher

In room 10 we have a student teacher that is coming in every Wednesday. Her name is Miss Wood or Tania Wood. She has been coming in for 4 weeks so far and is slowly getting to know us all which is great.

We are also getting to know her slowly as well. We had to write a Biography about Miss Wood today, so now we feel like we have known her for years not weeks. We learned lots of good facts about Miss Wood and we are pleased that we are learning and presenting them. We videoed Kinsey and Cailin presenting there speech and we will try to post it on to the blog so if you see it than you can watch it to learn more about Miss Wood.

We have really enjoyed having Miss Wood in our class this term and we all think that she will make a great teacher one day.

Here is Cailin's Biography of Mrs Wood, presented as a speech.

easter fair

On Thursday the last day of term 1 the house leaders are organizing a Easter egg hunt to celebrate Easter. The house leaders are planting clues all around the school for everyone to find. We will be with out little buddies to keep a close eye on them.
I will take photos of all the action tomorrow.
